Prayer

Groundswell is a pray first church and all are welcome to join us for Prayer Time! We gather on line every Tuesday at 7:00pm on Zoom.
If you are interested in joining us sign up to our mailing list below.

You can ask for prayer for yourself or others, pray with us, or just soak in power of group prayer. If you’re interested joining us for Prayer Time, call Pastor Bryan @ 905 659-6683. You can email your prayer requests to: prayer@thegroundswellchurch.com

HOME Groups

Recognizing our shared desire to belong, one of the main ways we nurture spiritual growth and connection at The Groundswell Church is through our weekly Community Groups. These groups are built around a simple, life‑giving rhythm: Connecting- forming meaningful relationships through shared life, conversation, and meals; Learning - growing together in faith through Bible study and candid discussion; Growing – allowing God to change us as we follow Jesus in our everyday lives, into our neighbourhoods and beyond.

Our Groups typically meet in homes, each with its own unique feel; but they all share being rooted in the Word and focused on sharpening each other for service in His Kingdom. We are passionate about being the hands and feet of Jesus where we live, and every group offers a welcoming, safe space to be known, encouraged, and supported. Come and see…. there’s always room for you.

Our Discipleship Group is a newly formed community group focused on helping people who are new to the faith to learn what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life. Through studying Scripture, praying together, and sharing in honest conversation, we support one another as we grow in faith, deepen our relationship with Jesus, and learn to live out His way together. This unique group is a place to be known, encouraged, and formed as a disciple of Christ—and you are invited to join us on the journey!

Community & Prayer Groups

We have Community groups located in Burlington, Oakville and Hamilton that meet weekly for a time of fellowship. We also have a prayer group that meets weekly and we offer several volunteer opportunities through our Worship Team, Tech Team, and Children’s Ministry. If you would be interested in learning more about joining a community group, worship team, tech team, or prayer group, please email Darin at darin@thegroundswellchurch.com.

Tech & Worship

If you are interested in helping on our tech team, we can provide training and support for those interested in serving in this area. We are always looking for more volunteers with things like running sound, operating video cameras, handling the song and sermon slides, shooting testimony videos, video editing, audio recording and more. Groundswell Kids

Are you interested in being a part of our children's ministry team? We are looking for individuals that love Jesus and want to share that love with the kids in our program!
