New Testament Prayers & Teaching

Prayer is not just something we say, it’s something we are.  Prayer is a way of life – a form of being – which actually accomplishes something. It is not just good intentions and fancy words, it is something we live and practice. We dig into concrete prayers spoken by people in the New Testament to discover how living in the realized presence of God affects our day to day lives and forms our character into that of Jesus. We discover a power in prayer that brings us into direct contact with the Father, shows Jesus to the world and allows the Holy Spirit to change us from the inside out. The hope is not just to listen to words about prayer during these nine weeks, but to encourage us all to dig deeper into the life of Christ and find ourselves practicing prayer more and more consistently.
